Choir of Women

Choir of women

In this ceramic and bronze work, five women, arms joined in a circle of unity, sit on a carved stone of swirling waves. Their interlaced bodies, enhanced by oxide infused washes and rich oil pastels, seem to dissolve into each other, embodying the unity and the deep connection between them.
Their bronze faces, marked with fine lines, display their stories, their strengths and their fragility. Inspired by singing, this sculpture evokes an immersion of sounds, a vibrant harmony where each woman, with her own sensitivity, contributes to a collective resonance.
At the crossroads of matter and musicality, “Choir of Women” celebrates sorority as a common melody, uniting differences in a shared echo.
